Sentaurus Device is an advanced multidimensional device simulator capable of simulating the electrical, thermal, and optical characteristics of silicon-based and compound semiconductor devices. Created by combining the best-in-class features from Synopsys and former ISE TCAD products, together with a wide range of new features and capabilities, Sentaurus Device is the new-generation device simulator for designing and optimizing current and future semiconductor devices.
Sentaurus Device addresses a complete range of semiconductor devices including nanoscale CMOS, FinFETs, CMOS image sensors, flash memory, SiGe HBTs, large-scale power devices, compound semiconductors, analog/RF, light-emitting diodes, and semiconductor lasers. In addition, Sentaurus Device enables the analysis and optimization of electrostatic discharge, single event upset, and soft errors.
