Multiple voltages and dynamic voltage and frequency scaling are commonly used to achieve power-performance balance in today’s advanced node SoC designs. Technology scaling to 5nm and below is expanding the opportunity to incorporate more functionality and use broader voltage ranges including ultra-low voltages. However, this significantly increases the number of scenarios for signoff analysis. In this brief talk, Synopsys R&D will present a smarter solution to achieve fast and more efficient signoff analysis for advanced node multi-voltage designs.
