Alexey Smirnov

Alexey Smirnov is a principal software architect and technical lead for the ARC Processors at Synopsys. Based in Porto, Portugal, Alexey has taken part in many embedded software development projects focusing on bringing the functional safety practices to Synopsys portfolio products. Prior joining Synopsys, Alexey worked at ARC International PLC as a DSP application engineer dealing with the hard-real-time audio processing use cases. Alexey earned his specialist degree from Information Technology University of Saint-Petersburg, Russia.
