Simpleware AS Cardio Now Available for Automated Segmentation of Cardiovascular Image Data

We are excited to announce the release of Simpleware AS Cardio (Auto Segmenter for the Cardiovascular System), the latest addition to our growing Auto Segmenter family. AS Cardio provides an easy-to-use tool to automatically segment cardiovascular data. In this specific release, we focus on heart segmentation from CT including blood pool cavities, selected muscle tissue as well as common key landmarks.

The new AS Cardio module adds to our collection of anatomy-specific Auto Segmenter modules powered by Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology using Machine Learning (ML) algorithms. All the modules provide a quick and reliable solution to reduce laborious manual segmentation time from hours to minutes. New applications are being developed for continuous release and improvements, with options also available for users wanting any customization or workflows for different anatomies through Simpleware Custom Modeler.

Simpleware AS Cardio is specifically designed for cardiovascular applications and is fully scalable to achieve greater consistency and increased reliability when segmenting heart CT images. The automated tools dramatically streamline workflows for pre-surgical planning and medical device design, making it straightforward to save time and increase productivity.
