Synopsys Acknowledges Employees for Helping Attract and Bring in Industry’s Best Talent

On October 16, 2017 Synopsys Armenia celebrated the successful outcome of the FY17 Employee Referral Program at the fifth annual ERP luncheon. The event gathered all dedicated Synopsoids who have proactively helped HR to find and recruit industry’s best talent, by promoting our open positions to friends and family, sharing personal experience about what it’s like to work for Synopsys. With an entertaining program full of pleasant surprises, the ERP luncheon has become a well-awaited annual event where employees from different teams get together to share their passion for Synopsys and simply enjoy team spirit in a relaxed environment.

Referral sponsors were acknowledged for demonstrating commitment in accelerating the company’s success by making an extra effort to advance human resources and helping create an engaged workforce. HR team highlighted the important role of ERP contributors in representing at best and acting upon Synopsys core values of Integrity, Customer Success Through Execution Excellence, and Leadership. Referrals are our number one source of external hiring and with this tool HR not only appreciates employees, who actively spread the word about Synopsys culture but also creates an internal culture of trust, integrity, and engagement.

As a symbol of appreciation for their effort and active participation in the program the participants received corporate branded gifts - a thermal backpack, a bottle cooler and a waterproof phone pouch. But there were more surprises to come. All invitees were divided into four groups and the HR hosts had prepared a fun quiz. The team that got the most points from the quiz won a restaurant invite, a great opportunity to enjoy a team dinner. The biggest prize of the evening “iPad” went to the lucky winner whose name was drawn through a lottery.
